Pat
O'Hare, playing fretted and fretless bass, was born in Chicago. Pat
began playing bass while attending Northern Illinois University at the
insistence of one of his friends who couldn't find a bass player for
his band. Unable to find a left-handed bass, he flipped a right-handed
one upside down to the amusement of most people that saw the bass played
"backwards." |

After graduation, he moved back to Chicago playing in rock, blues, and
bluegrass bands until moving to Orlando in 1973 and then West Palm Beach
in 1974. Since then, he has recorded with the New Life Singers and has
gigged in the area in various bands. |
